About the Role

The Roadside Assistance Support position with J&D Virtual Solutions offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, real-time help to customers experiencing vehicle breakdowns or emergencies. Agents handle inbound calls from motorists in need of towing, fuel delivery, lockout help, and other roadside services... offering reassurance, gathering key details, and coordinating assistance quickly and professionally. This is a remote 1099 independent contractor role, allowing you to set your own schedule and work from home while representing a respected national brand. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, excellent communicators, and motivated to deliver outstanding customer care in every interaction.

Requirements

Each agent completes a certification course designed to prepare them for real customer interactions, with training focused on communication, problem-solving, and empathy under pressure. Strong verbal and written skills are essential, as agents handle urgent calls from stranded motorists and must remain calm, clear, and professional at all times. Agents are required to have a reliable computer, high-speed wired internet connection, a noise-canceling headset, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace. Most roadside assistance programs require a background check and identity verification, and some may request additional documentation.
